I’ve used bands without handles before, and they can dig into your hands during longer workouts. The ergonomic handles give me a much more comfortable and secure grip, especially when doing curls, rows and shoulder presses.
Everything fits inside the Aktivian drawstring bag without taking up much room. I’ve also used the bag to carry gloves, straps and a small towel. It’s much easier than carrying separate equipment around.
I originally wanted bands for assisted pull-ups, but I’ve ended up using the kit for warm-ups, mobility work and full workouts too. The resistance options make it easy to adjust the amount of assistance as I improve.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Quick answers so you can choose your resistance and start training with confidence.
Which band should I start with?
Start with the resistance that lets you complete each rep with controlled form. Use a stronger band for more pull-up assistance, then progress to lighter assistance as you improve.
What are the bands made from?
The bands are made from 100% latex for smooth, flexible resistance. Do not use this product if you have a latex allergy or sensitivity.
What comes with the Spartan Bands Kit?
You receive four variable-resistance latex bands, two ergonomic handles, two metal D-ring carabiners, one door anchor, and one Aktivian drawstring carry bag.
Can I combine multiple bands?
Yes. Connect compatible bands to the handles with the metal carabiners to increase resistance. Check every connection and inspect the bands before each workout.
How do I use the door anchor safely?
Place it in a sturdy door that closes securely, attach the band, and test the setup with light tension before exercising. Never use it on a damaged or unstable door.
How do I clean and store the bands?
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let them air-dry completely. Keep the bands inside the carry bag away from sharp objects, direct sunlight, and excessive heat.
What if the kit isn’t right for me?
You may reasonably test the kit and request a return within 30 days of delivery. Returns must be clean, complete, and free from misuse, alteration, or excessive wear.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email contact@aktivian.com promptly with your order number and clear photos. We’ll review the issue and provide the appropriate replacement, return, or refund instructions.
